Kornati Islands

Today we left our anchorage at Kakan and motored in calm waters up the Zutski Kanal.

We passed through the very narrow Dugi passage.

Shortly after, we entered the Kornati Islands which are a National Park and stopped for lunch and a swim.

This proved to be fairly expensive as we were visited by the Park Rangers who collected the 400 kuna daily fee for anchoring (about $75).

Shortly after, we were water bombed again!

From here we sailed downwind to a little village called Vrulje on Kornati Island and tied up at the pier in front of Konoba Robinson.

We hiked up the hill to view the sunset over the many islands.

We joined the crew from Roc for dinner at the Konoba and had a traditional Croatian lamb dinner.

It was OK but they had trouble delivering some of the food orders on time leaving us a bit disappointed.
